Who It’s For:
The Task List is for all users — agents, admins, brokers, and transaction coordinators. It ensures that every required step or document is tracked and completed on time within each transaction.

What it Does
The Task List provides an organized, transaction-specific checklist for all tasks and document requirements. It allows users to:
- Track progress and completion of tasks.
- Automatically apply templates when creating or updating a transaction.
- Manually add, edit, or reassign tasks as needed.
- Upload and attach required documents directly from the list.
Where to Access
Open any Transaction and locate the Task List panel on the left-hand side of the transaction details.
If task templates are set to apply automatically, they will appear here when a transaction is created or its status changes.
Managing a Task List
Adding a Task List
- Click the “+” icon at the top of the Task List panel.
- Select one or more Task Templates from the list (e.g., Listing Tasks, Documents).
- Click Save to apply them to the transaction.
- Tasks will automatically populate with due dates based on the relative date rules set in the Task Template.
- Assigned users will see their tasks in both the Task Widget and the Task Manager.
Completing and Editing Tasks
- Check off tasks as you complete them — completed tasks will be hidden automatically.
- Click Show Completed Tasks to view them again.
- Use the More Actions menu on any task to:
- Mark as In Progress or Not Applicable.
- Edit task details (due date, assignee, notes) if you have permission.
- The system automatically updates the percentage complete for the entire list.
Adding Individual Tasks
- Click the “+” icon within the list to add a single custom task.
- Enter the Task Name and assign it to yourself or another user.
- Select a Due Date.
- These ad-hoc tasks are useful for one-off needs, such as reminders from a client conversation or follow-up actions.
Bulk Reassigning Tasks
When another user takes over a transaction:
- Select one or more tasks (or use Select All).
- Click Reassign Tasks.
- Choose the new assignee.
- This is commonly used when an agent, coordinator, or admin change occurs mid-transaction.
Document Upload Tasks
For any task marked as a Document Type:
- Click the upload area within the task.
- Choose the appropriate Document Title.
- Upload your file — it will automatically move into the correct Documents section for that transaction.
FAQ
Q: Can I manually add tasks even if a template is already applied?
A: Yes. You can add individual tasks at any time to cover unique or one-off requirements.
Q: Why don’t I see some tasks?
A: Completed tasks are hidden by default. Click “Show Completed Tasks” to view them again.
Q: Can I reassign multiple tasks at once?
A: Yes. Use the bulk select feature to reassign all or specific tasks to another user.
Q: How do document tasks differ from normal tasks?
A: Document tasks include an upload button and link directly to the transaction’s Documents section when completed.
Q: Will automatic tasks change if I modify a template later?
A: No. Task lists already applied to transactions remain as they were when created.
