Who It’s For:
Dashboards are available to all users. They bring together key widgets that display important data and make it easily accessible. Each user and role can have their own customized dashboard layout.
Video Walkthrough
What it Does
Dashboards allow users to view and interact with real-time data from across the platform. They:
- Display important widgets for quick access to metrics and activity.
- Can be customized per user and per role.
- Support drag-and-drop editing, resizing, and filtering.
- Provide interactive links that take you directly to related records, such as transactions or tasks.
Where to Access
Navigate to Left Menu → Dashboard Settings → Dashboards, or search for Dashboard in the left-side menu.
From there, you can view, edit, and customize dashboards based on your assigned roles.
Managing Dashboards
Viewing Dashboards
- Each role has its own dashboard configuration.
- Use the Dashboard Dropdown at the top to switch between dashboards if you have access to more than one.
- Click on widgets (e.g., Pending Transactions) to view filtered data directly related to that widget.
Editing Dashboards
- Click Edit to modify a dashboard.
- The editor will show a miniature preview of the layout with placeholder text.
- On the right-hand side, you’ll see a list of available widgets.
Adding and Arranging Widgets
- Drag and drop widgets from the right-hand list onto the dashboard preview.
- Resize widgets by dragging their corners to adjust height or width.
- Reposition widgets anywhere within the grid layout by dragging them to a new row or column.
- Once satisfied, click Update to save your layout.
Filtering and Widget Options
- Each widget can be filtered differently — by location, user, status, or other fields depending on its data type.
- Some widgets include variants, such as:
- Table view
- Line graph
- Stacked column chart
- These options let you choose how data is displayed for each widget.
Saving and Viewing Updates
- After updating, your changes are reflected immediately in the main dashboard view.
- All widgets remain interactive — clicking any data point will take you to the filtered page view it represents (e.g., open all Pending Transactions).
